Single or double-sided vine cutter

The vine cutter has perpendicular telescopically extending support columns (20,21), each fixed at the lower end to a support plate (27,37) which is connected to a connecting plate (26) mounted at the front of the tractor. At the upper end the support column has a crossbar (12) at a free space (a) through forwardly aligned support arms. A slide carriage (11) supporting the cutter mechanism (2) is horizontally displaceable on the cross bar. The support column is fixed to the support plate at the lower end by articulated bolts (22). The cutter mechanism is formed as a U-shaped cutter having two upright and one horizontal cutting arm.
