<p>The invention relates to a method and apparatus for determining pulmonary blood flow in a subject which utilises a divided airway, such that isolated divisions of the respiratory system which together make up the whole of the gas exchanging part of the respiratory system are ventilated with different gas mixtures. The invention also provides a triple lumen cuffed endobronchial catheter useful in measuring pulmonary blood flow.</p> |
