PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealability and operability without stain an end port of a barrel in an easily assembled structure. SOLUTION: A refill 7 for the writing instrument lockable to a forwarding or retracting position to or from a barrel 1 is mounted in the barrel 1. Springs 21, 22 are waged between the refill 7, slide cylinder 4 and the refill 7, stationary cylinder 3, and the cylinder 4 is interlocked to the forwarding of the refill 7 to open the cover 5. The refill 7 and its front end are forwarded from the state that the cylinder 4 is specified at the forwarded position, a flexible part is elongated, and a pen core 20 is projected from an end port 1a of the barrel 1. The core 20 is retracted in an inner hole of the cylinder 4 by retracting the refill 7 so that the flexible part is interlocked to the cylinder 4 from the compressed state to be retracted. And, the cover 5 is brought into close contact with the end face of the cylinder 4 so that the core 20 is sealable with the chamber in the inner hole of the cylinder 4. |
