<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read the video signal in a host CPU from a terminal away from the host CPU. SOLUTION: The host CPU 12, a video controller 20, and a server controller 26 are connected through an extension bus. The CPU 12 and video controller 20 form part of a server arranged in a decentralized computer system. The server controller 26 has a control memory inside, monitors data on the extension bus to detect writing operation from the CPU 12 to the video controller 20, and stores display data sent to the video controller in a controller memory when detecting the writing operation. Consequently, the remote terminal 28 connected to the server controller becomes able to access the display data form the CPU.</p> |
