PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for surely manufacturing an optical tap which performs proper optical distribution. SOLUTION: To form a 2nd Bragg grating 302 counted from the side of the incidence end 20 of a main waveguide 10a, this optical tap manufacturing method makes inspection light incident from an incidence end 20, measures the quantity of inspection light transmitted through a grating 301 on the incidence end side of the grating 302 , and sets a reflected light quantity that the grating 302 shows. Then the grating 302 is so formed as to show this set value. Similarly, for a grating 303 , the quantity of inspection light transmitted through the gratings 301 and 302 in order is measured and based on the measurement result, and after a reflected light quantity that the grating 303 should show is set, it beings to be formed. |
