SPACER FOR HORIZONTAL ARRANGEMENT AND OVERHEAD POWER TRANSMISSION LINE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent effectively the flexure of a spacer for horizontal arrangement which is nearly horizontally arranged, while the spacer clamps a correlative conductor or a conductor between lines by providing a suspended spacer attaching section at the central part of the spacer in the length direction. SOLUTION: A spacer 1 for horizontal arrangement is constituted by successively attaching insulators 3 and electric wire clamping tools 4 to both sides of an intermediate coupling metal fitting 2 and attaching arcing horns 5 to both sides of the insulators 3. The spacer 1 is also provided with a suspended spacer attaching section 10 at the position of the metal fitting 2. The attaching section 10 is composed of a tabular section having a bolt passing-hole, and a suspended spacer 50 is connected to the section 10. The spacer 50 has an electric wire clamping tool 4 on the upper end side of the insulators 3 and a hanging section 53 on the lower end side of the insulators 3 and clamps an electric wire C with the clamping tool 4. At the same time, uses a hanging section 53 by connecting the section 53 to the attaching section 10. In addition, arcing horns 5 are provided on both sides of the insulators 3.
