<p>The anchoring element is fitted to a structural member (1) and consists of a tube (3) which is inserted through a hole in the structural member. The tube is held in place by an anchor plate (4) on one end and a thrust plate (6) and two or more fasteners (7) such as nuts on its other, threaded end. The anchor plate is preferably made in the shape of a square with in-turned corners to act as spikes gripping the surface of the structural member, while threaded inner and outer surface on the tube allow a cantilever member (2) attached to the tube to be positioned correctly.</p> |
