PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optical recording medium to perform good recording and reproducing in different two wavelength regions by forming a recording layer and an optical interference layer both containing org. dyes as the main component and adding absorbent for light and/or accelerating agent for pyrolysis to the optical interference layer. SOLUTION: A recording layer 2' and an optical interference layer 3' are formed on a substrate 1', and further a reflection layer 4' is formed thereon. As for the org. dey incorporated into the recording layer, a pentamethine cyanine dye and the like can be used, and a phthalocyanine dye is preferable considering the light resistance and durability. As for the org. dye incorporated into the optical interference layer, a cyanine dye and the like can be used and an azo dye is preferable considering easy formation of a film, durability and recording characteristics. Further a naphthalocyanine absorbent for light and/or accelerating agent for pyrolysis such as metallicene are added to the optical interference layer. |
