PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device durable to a resistance at the time of crumbling aggregate toner by only imparting a necessary strength to a rotary shaft required for agitating and transporting the toner at the time of normal operation. SOLUTION: In this device, at the time of crumbling aggregate toner T, a large load is applied to the rotary shaft 22 through an agitator 26, thereby, the rotary shaft 22 is deflected and a crank part 22A shifts from a shaft line. Thus, the crank part 22A is supported by a notch 32 of a supporting board 30. As a result, the strength of the rotary shaft 22 becomes seemingly larger. At the normal time of driving, the crank part 22A of the rotary shaft 22 is separated from the notch 32 and held in a state of non-contact with the notch 32, therefore the undesired load is not applied to the rotary shaft 22, and moreover, the crank part 22A and the notch 32 in severally prevented from the wear. |
