PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for a spraying refractory without need for a formwork, which is not ruptured in the rapid drying after application and useful in warm or cold furnace body repairing by mixing a waterproof aggregate, fire-resistant powder, aluminum alloy powder, org. fiber and dispersant. SOLUTION: This composition for a refractory is kneaded with water, sprayed on the desired part and then rapidly dried to form a furnace wall and contains a fireproof aggregate, fire-resistant powder, aluminum alloy powder, org. fiber and dispersant. The composition is sprayed on a refractory by the following method. Namely, an argil 2 in a hopper prepared by admixing the composition with water and having self flowability is sent under pressure to a jobsite by a feed pump 1 and a feed pipeline 3. Compressed air and an accelerator are injected into the argil respectively from the compressed air injection port 8 and accelerator injection port 11 provided on the downstream side of the pipeline 3, and the argil is sprayed on the wall surface 13 to be repaired from a spray nozzle 6 fixed to the tip of the pipeline 3. |
