PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of the portable communication equipment, such as a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 1 has a reception section 3 at an upper front side of a case 2, a display section 5 under the reception section 3, a keyboard 6 under the display section 5, a transmission section 4 under the keyboard 6, an antenna 7 on an upper side of the case 2, a call reception key 8 to the upper left in the keyboard 6 and a recessed part 10 on the case 2, so as to surround the call reception key 8 from the left side face of the case. Since the recessed part is provided around the call reception key 8, and since a finger of one hand easily reaches the call reception key 8 even when the portable communication equipment is held by one hand, it is possible to reply an incoming call by pressing the call reception key 8 when making a reply for the incoming call and also at the time of dialing, a dial key is pressed by one band for dialing. |
