SOCKET MOUTH COVERING STRUCTURE OF COLORED SHIELDED CABLE AND EXECUTING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a good appearance of a cable and to improve weather resistance by a method wherein a colored fluororesin heat shrinkable tube in the same color as that of colored fluororesin of a colored cable general part or in an arbitrary selected color is used for a socket mouth part. SOLUTION: A general part cable 1 is formed such that a number of galvanized metallic wires 1a are bundled and corrosion prevention covering of colored fluororesin 1c is applied on a polyethylene resin covering 1b applied on the outer periphery thereof. At the terminal part of a colored covering cable, the galvanized metallic wire 1a is exposed in a position wherein the end part of a corrosion prevention covering material is inserted in a socket 2, and fixed to the socket 2 by casting of a zinc copper alloy 2a and filling of epoxy resin 2b. Caulking material 3 is applied on the front end of a mouth part 2d of the socket 2 so that a difference in a level with the surface of a colored covering cable corrosion prevention covering material is smoothed. The outer periphery thereof is covered with a polyethylene heat shrinkage material 4 throughout a range between the socket mouth and a cable covering material, and further the outer periphery thereof is covered with a mouth covering material formed of a colored fluororesin tubular heat shrinkage material 5.
