PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device equipped with a developing roller capable of forming a uniform toner layer applying a press developing method. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the developing roller 2 disposed so as to face oppositely an electrostatic latent image carrier 3, a means 4 forming the thin layer consisting of the magnetic toner on the surface of the developing roller 2, and a means rotating the developing roller 2 at a rotary peripheral speed faster than the electrostatic latent image carrier 3, and the developing roller 2 is equipped with a roller base body furnished with the surface layer and provided with an elasticity, and a conductive layer composed of a flexible and conductive seamless tube. |
