The chambers of this novel compact waste water treatment plant are integrated into one vessel. The waste water flows from the inlet via interconnecting lines between the internal chambers to the clarified water outlet, and an aeration unit is included. In the new design, the cylindrical vessel (1) contains two activated sludge chambers (2, 3), an aerator (15, 16, 17), a series connecting line (11) and a final settlement chamber (5) interconnected to the sludge accumulation vol. (4) by a sludge overflow line (7b). The activated sludge chambers (2, 3) are charged with raw waste water, without pre-clarification. |
