PURPOSE:To enable an electrophotographic receptor to be freed of a photoconductive layer from a support in an easy and perfect manner and to be fabricated also easily, by covering a cylindrical support with a heat-shrinkable tube provided with a photoconductive layer on its surface in advance in order to shrink it by heating. CONSTITUTION:A rubber balloon is inserted into the inside of a heat-shrinkable conductive tube made by mixing a polythylene resin and 50% carbon black and inflated into a cylindrical form. A photoconductive layer made of zinc oxide and a styrene-butadiene copolymer is coated in 20mum thickness on the outer surface of the inflated heat-shrinkable tube by a dip coating method. This coated tube is covered on an aluminum cylinder, heat-shrinked by blowing heated air against the tube to heat-shrink it, thus forming an electrophotographic photosensitive drum easily. If the tube has been notched at a part of it, it can be stripped easily from there, so such a notch may be formed in advance. |
