PURPOSE:To remove porous sections among metallic spraying particles, and to form a sprayed coating having excellent strength on the surface of the molding die by a method wherein a binding agent is supplied so as to cross in the scattering direction of the particles, the metallic particles are coated with the binding agent and a coating is formed on a material to be coated. CONSTITUTION:Another binding agent coating gun 12 is disposed adjoining to a metal spraying gun 11, and the metallic particles 5, such as a Zn alloy, a Ni alloy, etc. are sprayed and scattered onto the surface of the material to be coated 10 with directional property from the gun 11. The binding agent 6 having low viscosity, such as synthetic resin, asphalt, etc. is ejected so as to cross with the particles 5 from the gun 12, synchronizing with the spraying and scattering of the particles 5, the particles 5 are coated with the binding agent 6, and projected to the material to be coated 10 and the sprayed coating 4 is formed. Accordingly, the binding agent enters among the particles, the particles are bonded mutually while voids among the particles are clogged, and the porous sections are removed, thus improving the strength of the sprayed coating, then thinning the sprayed coating as such as possible. |
