摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the high-frequency-wavelike change of plate thickness and improve plate thickness accuracy and yield by separating the change components of rolling load to every factor and controlling the same respectively separately. CONSTITUTION:At the time of performing rolling through one or more rolling mills having coiling and uncoiling reels, the change components of rolling loads are separated to a load change DELTAPt occurring in a tension change, a load change DELTAP1 occurring in a change of the plate thickness and deformation resistance on inlet side and a load change DELTAPe occurring in roll eccentricity, respectively. The electric currents of reel motors or mill motors positioned before and behind rolling mills are controlled by the change component of the former one, whilist the plate thickness control by roll gaps having been used heretofore and the load compensation control of rolling mill motors are accomplished by the latter two, whereby the high-frequency-wavelike change in the plate thickness owing to the mutual interferences of plate tension in a rolling mill system consisting of rolling mills and reels is eiminated simultaneously with the change in the thickness on the outlet side owing to various factors.</p>
