PURPOSE:To enable automatic and sure tightening of a magnetic disc substrate to a rotating shaft stably, by using a chuck mechanism which can hold things surely only with vertical movement of a spindle. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disc substrate 1 is placed on a rotating body 2, and a plurality of press-contacting elements 32 constituting the 2nd rotating body are pushed out toward external circumference from the said conical plane, by a rotating shaft 4 having a thrust-down plane at the upper part of the said conical plane moved downward. The rotating shaft is lifted down and the elements 32 projected from a cylinder 3 is press-contacted to the board 1 via a cylinder 3 with the top 42 of the shaft 4, allowing to bond the rotating body and the magnetic disc substrate firmly for mechanical coupling. |
