PURPOSE:To increase the production amt. of a blast furnace and to recover a large amt. of blast furnace gases of high calories by performing oxygen enriched blasting from a hot stove to the tuyeres of the blast furnace, recovering the sensible heat of waste combustion gases produced from the hot stove under combustion, and directly blowing the gases into the tuyeres of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION:The waste combustion gas is fed from a hot stove 2' under heating simultaneously with the blast from a hot stove 2 to a blast furnace tuyere 3. More specifically, the waste gas of the hot stove is recovered through a flue 11' into a waste gas recovery pipe 8'. This gas passes through a waste gas supply main pipe 12, and en route, the sensible heat thereof is recovered in a cooling tower 6, and is thereby made into a low temp. gas of prescribed temp., after which it is forcibly fed by a pressurizing device 5 through a nozzle 4 into the tuyere 3. The gas is enriched with oxygen by an oxygen supply pipe 13 on the way of the air feed passage 8 of the hot stove 2. |
