<p>A guide structure (16) susceptible of oscillation in a horizontal axis, slidably carries two grasping arms (20) adapted to come into engagement with attachment pins (7) projecting from the side walls (6a) of a rubbish skip (6). Two fluid-operated cylinders (29) acting on the guide structure (16) move the arms (20) between a grasping position in which they engage the attachment pins (7) and a lifting position in which they bring the skip above a loading hopper (4). An amplification linkage (32, 33) operatively interposed between each fluid-operated cylinder (29) and the guide structure (16) transmists an additional movement to the grasping arms (20) from the grasping position to a rest position in which the downwardly-facing arms are contained within the maximum permissible overall dimensions of the motor-vehicle (2). <IMAGE></p> |
