PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller capable of easily changing a display language without making the substrate large-sized and also without increasing cost. SOLUTION: This display controller works so that one language is selectively displayed out of the plural languages stored in a message ROM 4. The controller is provided with the message ROM 4 for storing the data of plural languages, CPU 25 for containing in the memory space such exclusive space of the language data as its capacity is smaller than the total of the plural language data, address decoder 8 for selecting one of the plural language data stored in a storage means and allocating it to the exclusive space of the language data, and a data latch 9. |
