PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost required for the development of parts and management by providing a lower case which can be used in common in an upper and lower type shift structure and a rotary type shift structure. SOLUTION: A space for upper and lower slide cam shift guide 51 and a space for horizontal rotation cam shift guide 58 which crosses the space for upper and lower slide cam shift guide 51 are formed in a lower case 4 of an outboard motor, and a bearing is provided in a lower end part of the space for upper and lower slide cam shift guide 51. Consequently, and of an upper and lower slide cam 46 of an upper and lower type shift structure any a horizontal rotation cam shift of a rotary type shift structure can be attached to the lower case 4, and the horizontal rotation cam shift 56 can turn stably. |
