<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely measure exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A vent pipe 4 is formed of a steel-plate pipe 14 with its inner face coated with a refractory 15. The vent pipe 14 is provided with a through hole 16 on a side wall. The through-hole 16 is blocked airtightly by an insulated supporting pipe 5, and the insulating pipe is inserted into the vent pipe 4. The supporting pipe 5 is made to conform to the axial center of the vent pipe 4, and an air outlet is formed right under the supporting pipe. A discharge electrode 6 is passed through the air outlet and hung down on the center of the vent pipe 4 by the supporting pipe 5. Air is introduced from the air outlet into the vent pipe 4 by an air blower device 8 through the supporting pipe 5. A direct current high voltage power source 7 is connected electrically with the discharge electrode 6 through the supporting pipe 5, and direct current high voltage is applied between the discharge electrode 6 and the pipe 14.</p> |
