<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a high numeral aperture of pixels and good display quality. SOLUTION: Different currents for anodic oxidation are applied on a gate electrode 22A and an auxiliary capacitor electrode 22B formed on a glass substrate 21 so that the film thickness of an anodic oxidation film 25 on the gate electrode 22A is made larger than the thickness of an anodic oxidation film 26 on the auxiliary capacitor electrode 22B. Thereby, a parasitic capacitance produced between the gate electrode 22A and a source electrode can be decreased, while the auxiliary capacitor can be relatively increased. Thus, an overlapped area between the pixel electrode and the auxiliary capacitor electrode can be decreased. Thereby, the obtd. liquid crystal display device has a high numeral aperture of pixels and good display quality.</p> |
