PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service regarding the time, even when terminal equipment is used in a public mode or when a power supply has been interrupted. SOLUTION: Terminal equipment is provided with a clock circuit 53, and a control section 5 is provided newly with a time data detection means 5b and a clock operation control means 5c. The clock circuit 53 counts the time based on time data arrived periodically through a simultaneous call channel from a base station, when a power supply switch is closed and a home mode is set. The clock circuit 53 carries out a self-counting time operation when the public mode is set. Furthermore, when the power supply switch is interrupted, the terminal equipment conducts a pseudo standby operation for a pseudo intermittent reception period, and the clock circuit 53 is operated in a pseudo- intermittent reception timing to count the time. |
