PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction, in a device for monitoring the life of a component unit exchangeably loaded on an equipment body, and to make the device inexpensive and highly reliable. SOLUTION: The serial circuits of Zener diodes 13-15 and fuses 16-18 are parallelly provided on the side of an exchange unit connected to the equipment body side through connector contact points 11-1, 11-2, with a fuse 19 singly parallely connected. In addition, the body is provided with a capacitor 20 for flowing an electric current to the fuses 16-19 for melting and with a triode AC switch 26 for controlling the charge. Then, the melting of the fuses 16-19 is discriminated by a micro computer 2 on the body side while a voltage is monitored for a detecting resistor 9. |
