PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tennis racket be short and light and easy to carry to enable even a beginner easily enjoy playing tennis, by forming a holding part to hold a frame with a string face and without a grip onto the frame. SOLUTION: A shaft 2 between a frame 1 and a grip of a racket for tennis is cut off and a holding part 4 is equipped thereon. The form of the holding part 4 is based on the standard size of a palm of an average adult man and an opening with a size to easily accept four fingers except for the thumb is formed thereon. Fingers are to be inserted into the opening to hold the frame 1 with a string face 3. The holding part 4 is formed with a material considering size and hardness not to lose grip feeling in a form slightly thinner than the cut-off grip so as to make the palm touching part be easily held and the gripping power easily applied. The cut end of the holding part 4 is ground to the utmost utilizing the cut-off part of the shaft. |
