PURPOSE:To obtain uniform developability even in the case of continuously forming images by using a combination of an inorganic fine powder surface treated with a silicone oil or varnish and another fine inorganic powder having a trimethylsiloxyl group and a pH of >= 7 as the outside additive of the toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner comprises a binder resin with polymerizable monomer units each having a carboxylic group in an amount of 2 - 30 wt.% of the resin and an acid value of 1 - 70; a metal complex type monoazo dye having a hydrophilic group; and magnetic particles having a bulk density of >= 0.35 g/cm<3>. The combination of the inorganic fine powder surface treated with the silicone oil or the like and the inorganic fine powder having the trimethylsiloxyl group and a pH of >= 7 are used as the outside additive of the toner, thus permitting uniform developability to be ensured even in the case of continuously forming images by using a simple developing device provided with no toner conveying means. |
