PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material made of corrugated cardboard which can be easily assembled and which consumes less corrugated cardboard and which is excellent in the durability and the cushioning property. SOLUTION: Mutually parallel four bending lines 22-25 and a pair of slits 30-34 crossing the bending lines at right angles are formed on a sheet of corrugated cardboard. A pair of bending lines of the inside are bent to make a recess and the outside bending lines are bent to make a protrusion to form a main body member 2. And mutually parallel four bending lines 44-47 and a pair of slits 40 crossing the bending lines at right angles are formed on another sheet of corrugated cardboard. A pair of bending lines of the inside are bent to make a recess and the outside bending lines are bent to make a protrusion to form a support member 36. The main body member and the support member are fitted in these respective slits to form a cushioning member.
