PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move waste tape pieces collected in the waste tape receiver of a duct to or near the suction port of the duct, so that the waste tape pieces can be sucked entirely by providing a pipe through which compressed air is blown toward the suction port in a horizontal direction and an obliquely downward direction on the waste tape receiving end face of a waste tape-sucking means. SOLUTION: Tape pieces 3a and 3b, cut off by means of a parts inserting means, are transferred onto the waste tape receiver 9a of a duct 9, while the pieces 3a and 3b are held by means of a parts transferring means and discharged into the waste tape receiver 9a of the duct 9 from a chuck piece. The pieces 3a and 3b discharged into the receiver 9a are sucked by means of a waste tape-sucking means through a hose connected to the duct 9. In this case tapes 3a, 3b gathered in the vicinity of the end face of the waste tape receiver 9a apart from the suction port of the duct 9 are blown off to the suction port of the duct 9 by compressed air 14, blown out from a plurality of holes 13a and 13b of pipes 12a and 12b to be sucked by the suction means and discharged. |
