PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow maximum deformable working quantity theoretically. SOLUTION: A steering wheel framework 1 for vehicle, a hub 2, spokes 3, and a rim 4 are formed out of at least partially a metallic sheet. The metallic sheet is bent to form a U or L shaped cross section. The base part 5 of the cross section is perpendicular substantially to the shaft of a steering wheel. The side surfaces 6, 7, 8 of the cross section are parallel substantially to the shaft. A waveform is formed at the side surface of L or L shape when viewed from the axial direction. The waveform is hardly present near the base part, and increases continuously more to the maximum as it approaches an edge 10 more. |
