PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material excellent in recording image quality and gloss in which bending crack and curl after recording are suppressed. SOLUTION: A thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye and a developer, an intermediate layer containing an aqueous resin, a protective layer cured by irradiating an electron beam-curing compound with an electron beam, and an uppermost layer containing a pigment and an aqueous resin are formed sequentially on a support to produce a thermal recording material. Liquid hydrogenated 1, 2 polybutadiene acrylate is employed as the electron beam-curing compound. Polybutadiene acrylate is preterably used by 30-80wt.% of the total quantity of solid in the protective layer. |
