PURPOSE: To receive the fluorescence of each waveform at high sensitivity without requiring any rotary filter by irradiating a measuring area simultaneously and focusing the fluorescence emitted therefrom while subjecting it to waveform dispersion through a direct-vision prism. CONSTITUTION: Four kinds of samples labeled with different fluorescent substances are migrated on the migration path of a plurality of gel plates arranged on a plane and then irradiated with laser light 13 to excite the fluorescent substances thus emitting fluorescence. Exciting light is then cut off 4 from a fluorescent image thus generated and wavelendth dispersion is carried out through a direct-vision film 14 before a wavelendth dispersion image is focused on an image amplifier 6 through a focus lens 5. The wavelendth dispersion image is received by a two-dimensional detector 7. The horizontal position discriminates the migration path and the vertical direction corresponds to the dispersing direction of waveform. Consequently, fluorescent images subjected to wavelength dispersion can be obtained at four different positions in the vertical direction on the detector 7. The fluorescent images are detected 9 and monitored 8. Consequently, the fluorescence of each wavelength can be received at high sensitivity over the entire measuring time through a simple mechanism without requiring to receive the light of difference wavelength alternately through a rotary filter. |
