<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint to be excellent in usability. SOLUTION: A second male screw 7 joined in a screwed-in state with a fastening nut 6 and a fitting-in wall 8 with which the base part of an insertion cylinder part 4 is surrounded and which is situated internally in the radial direction of the second male screw 7 and gradually increased in diameter in the direction of the free end of the insertion cylinder part 4 are arranged at the intermediate part of a joint main body 1 provided at one end with a first male screw 2 joined in a screwed-in state with an apparatus (a) and at the other end with the insertion cylinder part 4 engaged internally of a pipe 3 to be connected. Further, a expandable press ring 9 brought into pressure contact with a fit-in wall 8 is disposed external of the insertion cylinder part 4. A protrusion edge 11 to surround a pipe 3 to be connected is provided on the inner peripheral edge of the press ring 9 and a press wall 14 positioned opposite to the fitting-in wall 8 and nipping the press ring 9 therebetween is arranged on the inner peripheral surface of a fastening nut 6. Further, a display pin 16 energized in a protrusion direction by an elastic material 17 is retractably arranged at the deep end of the fitting-in wall 8. A window hole 18 through which the display pin 16 is visually observed is formed in the joint main body 1.</p> |
