PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering and packaging system whose responsivity to control information is high and in which hardware can be added, changed or the like easily. SOLUTION: A metering drive part 12 is installed at every metering device unit 11 which constitutes a combination balance for a metering system 121. Every metering drive part 12 is constituted of a CPU board 13, of motor drivers 14, 15 which drive stepping motors 18, 19, of a load cell 20, of an A/D converter 16 and of a feeder driver 17 which drives a feeder 21, and the CPU board 13 is connected to a LAN cable 23 via a LAN interface 22. An interface board 89 which comprises a first interface 85 is connected to the LAN cable 23, it is connected to a second interface 84 on a packaging control part 82 on the side of a packaging system 122 by using four parallel signal lines, a metering control unit 26 which gives control information to the metering drive part 12 at every metering device unit 11 is installed, and the metering control unit 26 is connected to the LAN cable 23 so as to be connected to the packaging control part 82 via a serial line 32b. |
