PURPOSE: To efficiently carry out work, such as repair of a fault or wiring, with an electronic musical instrument for generating playing information based on the form of a player. CONSTITUTION: Input device operation data are supplied from input devices for measuring the form of the player to input terminals 152, 153. Identification information specifying the kinds of the input devices is included in the input device operation data. A CPU 21 automatically discriminates which input devices are connected to which input terminals 152, 153 by the identification information. As a result, the player is no more required to discriminate the input terminals to be connected with the respective input devices. Further, the information on the contents, etc., of the defect is displayed on a display 30 in case there is the wiring defect. As a result, the wiring work and the repair work are efficiently carried out. |
