PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of tasks to a sound source circuit and to perform an automatic playing in which repeated playings are conducted in a loop segment of playing data. SOLUTION: During a reproducing of playing data, the performance is controlled by outputting control parameters (program changes, pitch bends and others) in the playing data to the sound source. After the start of the reproducing, the parameter values at the loop start are stored relative to control parameters 1 to 5 which are outputted prior to the entrance to the loop start. Note that flags are used to specify the kinds of control parameters 1, 4 and 3 which are outputted during the playing of the loop segment. If it is to be returned to the loop start, only the parameter values of the control parameters 1, 4 and 3 are outputted to the sound source circuit and the parameter values of 2 and 5 are not outputted. |
