The display device has a common circuit board (11) carrying a number of display lamps (34), corresponding to the functions and operating conditions to be indicated and a corresponding number of light shafts (23,...32) combined together to provide a single component. The front openings of the light shafts are fitted with respective transparent front plates (18,...22) each provided with a symbol or word corresponding to the function or operating condition indicated by the respective lamp. Pref. the light shafts are enclosed by a common frame (12) fitted to the surface of the circuit board.. |
