The invention is aimed at developing a vaccine against schistosomosis. It relates to a protein comprising the epitopes of the protein p28, a poxvirus comprising a gene coding for the said protein, a cell incorporating an expression vector of the said protein, a process for the preparation of the said protein, a DNA sequence coding for the protein p28, a pharmaceutical composition, antibodies put up against the said protein and their application as diagnostic agents for schistosomosis. The invention also relates to the application of the said protein as an agent exhibiting a glutathion-S-transferase activity. |
