PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the ink supply rate in order to increase the jetting frequency of an ink jet print head. SOLUTION: An opening 801 on a pressure chamber 6 side of an ink supply path 8 is tapered 810 or stepped so that it has an area wider than that of an opening 802 on an ink reservoir 7 side and the opening 801 on the pressure chamber side has an angle 803. Consequently, an ink supply path is arranged to have an effective cross-section which is smaller at the time of ink jet when the ink flows out from the pressure chamber to the ink reservoir upon application of a pressure thereto than at the time of ink supply when the ink flows from the ink reservoir into the pressure chamber. |
