Biaxial magnetometric sensor, developed for detecting magnetic fields in the plane. It consists of a disc-shaped sensor head of ferromagnetic material and a rotary exciter magnetic field, whose signals induced in a pair of secondary coils are analysed with a series of filters and detectors in phase with synchronization signals originating from the same clock. The system can be used for measuring magnetic fields (modulus, direction and orientation), enabling it to be used in various fields, such as automation, environmental contamination, defence, medicine, etc. <IMAGE>
