<p>A single-plate slider, especially a single-plate slider (10), with a sliding plate (16) and, possibly, a pipe bridge (20) which can slide inside a housing (11) in order to open or close a fluid passage (17) therein by means of an actuating device (18, 19). Sliding plate (16) or tube bridge (20) have sealing edge surfaces which correspond with the sealing surfaces on the edges of the housing, especially ring sealing surfaces (14, 15). At least one of the sealing edge surfaces (14, 15) of the housing forms part of a sealing ring (23) arranged inside the housing (11). Said ring is prestressed and fits closely onto the sealing surface associated to the sliding plate (16) or pipe bridge (20).</p> |
