Floor mop with absorbent head and wringer

The cleaning-mop (5), in the form of a continuous, wide loop, is joined on one side to the mop-head (2) and, on the other side, to the mop-holder (17) attached to a wringer consisting of a telescopic inner rod which is movable along the long handle (1). The loop is placed round a transverse arm (3) extending over the width of the mop-head, and round a cross-bar (9) of the mop-holder. The bottom end of the telescopic rod (6) is joined to the mop-holder extendible downwards out of the mop-head, and joined at the top end to a wringer handle (7). The mop-holder is held in its up position by a detent arrangement (15,16).
