Two countershafts (3, 5) carry disengageable gearwheels (13, 14, 15, 16, 17) and alternatively drive a differential input gear (20) by means of gears (19, 22) connected to the countershafts (3, 5) by couplings (21, 23). The input shaft (4) and countershafts (3, 5) are arranged parallel to one another.
