DIE FORGING DEVICE HAVING HIGH WORKABILITY

PURPOSE:To flush the face of projected tip of a part and reduce manufacturing cost by fitting a sub-punch into an auxiliary forming hole provided in a punch allowing free sliding and pushing back a work coming out in the auxiliary hole to the center of forming work. CONSTITUTION:A die 12 in which spiral unevenness corresponding to the shape of the product is fitted slidably to a cylindrical holder 11, and further, a punch 14 having an auxiliary forming hole 15 on the working face 13 is also fitted slidably. A slidable sub-punch 16 is fitted to the auxiliary hole 15 by a separate pressure source. When the die 12 and punch 14 start operation and compress the work 4, a part of the work comes out in the recess 17 and auxiliary hole 15, and the die 12 and punch 14 are stopped when a pedestal 1 becomes specified thickness. When the work projecting in the hole 15 is pushed back by operating the sub-punch 16, upper end face 5 of a scroll part 2 can be flushed.
