摘要 The present invention refers to an analogue control and adjustment system for driving the direct current propeller engine of an average tonnage technical ship. The proposed control and adjustment system ensures the operation of the propeller engine in four quadrants, thus ensuring the dynamic or back-current braking mode, as a function of the braking current in the engine that is permanently measured and controlled. The main advantages of the proposed system reside in a wide range of speed variation, controlled shaft torque, high maneouvrability and sizable fuel saving, as compared to the classical operation of electric engine propelling.
