The height adjustment of the grate is through two flat iron scissor joints (9,10) and a cross bar (5) via a threaded spindle (11) . Even ventilation is through small openings in the fuel trough. By attaching the fuel trough to the scissor joint it can be moved vertical to allow clean uncomplicated disposal of used fuel. Liquid and gas fuels can also be used in place of solid fuels.
