Disclosed is a device for depositing electromagnetic radiation material on a cathode of a cathode-ray tube electron gun. The device includes a drive chain mounted on a driving portion and a driven portion, provided on opposite sides of a work platform, plates on which a plurality of electron gun cathodes, caps of which are sprayed with electromagnetic radiation material, are mounted the plates being fixed on the drive chain to be guided past a spray portion for the spray process, and stretch preventing means for preventing stretching of the drive chain.
