Radiation curable adhesion promoting primer coating

A radiation curable adhesion promoting primer composition(I) is solvent free and contains cationically and/or radically hardenable cross-linking systems (II). Also claimed is a process for coating flexible film and rigid support materials by coating the optionally corona discharge treated substrate with (I), irradiating with UV or electron beam radiation and without further drying, coating with hot melt adhesive, PVDC dispersion, hot sealing wax, print or similar coating materials.
