Turbo-machine brush seal

The brush seal is used for sealing the gap (S) between a rotor (1) and a stator (2) via a bristle housing (4), fitted to the rotor or the stator and formed in two half-shells (5a,5b), defining an intermediate space (Z) which receives a sealing bristle (6), projecting into contact with the stator or rotor. The sealing brush is clamped axially in a first section (8) of the intermediate space and is clamped radially in a second section (10) of this space.
